Infrastructure Project Manager

About the assignment :

A Project Manager ensures that the project is completed on time and within budget, and that the project’s objectives are met (according to scope). As the Project Manager for the Final Client for the DORA project, you will:

• Align with the Final Client program manager, receive group/regulatory requirements, and report progress, risks, and issues for consolidated reporting across the Final Client's subsidiaries.

• Align with the Final Client sponsors and defend the Final Client’s interests – considering the purpose and size of the organization, also managing risks and issues carefully.

• Functionally report to the head of business analysts and project managers.

Projects are separate from usual day-to-day business activities and tasks. The Final Client's collaborators and sourcing partners will be managed by you on a daily basis, working together to achieve a set of specific objectives. Proper knowledge and expertise as a security engineer allow you to undertake investigations and checks, possibly concrete remediation actions yourself, and in all cases, supervise the work of assigned sourcing partners.

 

Profile :​

Education

• Master’s in computer science or bachelor’s with significant experience in several IT security projects.

Certification

• CISSP, relevant for DORA.

Language Requirements

• Dutch: oral and written (proficient level in one of the local languages).

• French: oral and written (proficient level in one of the local languages).

• English: Sound knowledge of English (oral and written) as well as at least one local language.

 

Skills :

Required Experience/Knowledge

• At least 10 years of relevant experience.

Technical Experience

• Mandatory: Cyberdefense, security engineering skills in Azure setup.

• Preferable: Worked on regulatory IT security related projects, advising/supporting key roles like IT architect, CISO, CIO, etc., worked in an environment with outsourcing of IT platforms and developments.

Business Experience

• Mandatory: Experience in project management methods, processes and tools, experience in the concerned domain(s), experience in working in a smaller company as part of a big group, pragmatic advice (scaled to the specific situation of the company).

Soft Skills

• Communicative, strong networking and negotiation skills.

• Organized, methodical and rigorous.

• Creative, solution-oriented.

• Team player (motivating and listening abilities).

• Able to make decisions and help decision-makers with reasoned options.

• Ability to orchestrate a project team mixing own and outsourced key actors.
